Happy Birthday to our Co-Founder, Felicia
This week we celebrate the birthday of our cofounder @fbrew It is an absolute fact that Bradshaw Sauce Co would not exist without her persistence, influence, and numerous business-related skills. If you ask her, she won't take the credit but she would pass the idea of the business onto myself. She's straight-up lying, she is too humble at times. Honestly, I had little interest in making my hot sauce creations an actual business. The importantly placed hurdles of a food manufacturing business seemed like an insurmountable mountain that I never intended on climbing.
Felicia knew better, she knew before I did. We were onto something special. Anytime we ran into a bar regular who inquired about the hot sauces, she would slyly question "What is stopping us from making this a business again?" I had a myriad of excuses, never admitting I was afraid of failure and what that could honestly say about my product or my skill.
Once again Felicia knew better. It would be an understatement to say it took me awhile to come around. Some small success achieved through a few Wing Festival events at @drp_og and a chance meeting with Chris from @crumssauce and the seed Felicia planted in my mind began to take root. By December of 2019 Felicia and I sat down and had the conversation that would actually become the founding of Bradshaw Sauce Co.
Nowadays you can see Felicia's fingerprints on almost everything we make, design, or post. She has been instrumental in absolutely everything behind the scenes, at the Farmer's Market, and at every event we attend. I couldn't imagine having a better partner in business or in life. Not to mention all of the effort and work she continues to put in all the while running her own successful business. If you like our hot sauces and what we are striving to accomplish, thank Felicia, she is the heart and soul of this company and we are blessed to have her.
